The Witch's Wand

By Jack O'Laughs
Under a full moon's gleam,
A silly witch did scheme,
She thought her magic grand,
With a wand made of rubber band.

She cast a spell with flair,
Waving her wand in the air,
But instead of turning mice to cheese,
She transformed them into buzzing bees!

Oh, the witch was quite perplexed,
Her spell had surely hexed,
She tossed her wand aside,
And laughed until she nearly cried.

The Candy Catastrophe

By Trickster Tom
On Halloween night, oh what a shame,
I played a prank that I still proclaim,
I filled the candy bowl with tasteless tricks,
To the despair of each treat-seeking mix.

The first brave soul came ringing the bell,
His eager eyes shone, a tale I will tell,
He picked a chocolate, all shiny and smooth,
But inside, a dollop of toothpaste did prove.

The next little monster, dressed as a clown,
Giggled and squealed, his face full of frown,
He bit a lollipop, rainbow bright,
But it turned to a veggie, an awful sight!

The candy catastrophe went on all night,
Teeth of the trick-or-treaters were not alright,
As they chewed on surprises, not sweet but sour,
We laughed till morning, a Halloween to devour.

The Ghost in My Closet

By Limerick Lucy
There once was a ghost in my closet,
Who hid in there day and night,
I asked him why he was lurking,
He said, "I'm just seeking a fright!"

So, I invited him out for Halloween,
To scare all the folks on the street,
But, to our surprise, they roared with laughter,
For a ghost in pink sheets ain't too discreet!

We laughed and we frolicked all evening,
As the ghost tried to be truly scary,
But it's hard to be spooked by a ghost,
When he trips over his sheet and falls down the dairy!

The Bat's Dance

By Silly Sally
Late at night, in the pale moonlight,
Bats fluttered in great delight,
They gathered in a cave so deep,
To practice for their dance so steep.

With wings flapping in perfect sync,
They danced the "Bat Plink Plink Plink,"
But oh, instead of shimmering grace,
They bumped into each other, face to face!

The bats collided, having a laugh,
As they tangled in a furry giraffe,
They giggled and squawked, not quite the ballet,
But their humorous dance brought joy in a melee!

The Zombie Ball

By Ha-Ha Harry
The zombies shuffled, oh so slow,
To a ball where no one dared to go,
Their limbs ached, their eyes were red,
But they danced with the undead.

They swayed to a spooky band,
Holding each other hand in hand,
But as they twirled and kicked their feet,
Their limbs fell off with a disco beat!

Undeterred, the zombies laughed,
Picking up parts that gravity gaffed,
They danced with heads held high,
Feet flying across the moonlit sky.

Halloween, the night of fright, doesn't always have to be spine-chilling and terrifying. These hilarious Halloween poems show us that laughter can be an integral part of celebrating the macabre. So, go out and embrace the silly side of this ghoulish holiday. Let laughter ring through the moonlit night as you celebrate Halloween with a smile on your face!
